Important information about our mutual exchange process

Before approving a mutual exchange, we carry out checks to make sure the move is suitable. This includes:

Your rent account is up to date
The property type and size is suitable for your household
A property inspection confirms your house meets our relet standards (a copy of our relet standard can be found here)
There are no other breaches of tenancy, such as anti-social behaviour
Satisfactory references received from landlord of tenant you wish to swap with (if not an OHA tenant)

Please note that we require an application to be submitted through HomeSwapper for all parties who wish to take part in the mutual exchange.
